First the quick apology for neglecting you, you gorgeous girl! I've been so busy lately, my time has been consumed with work, family and friends that I haven't written anything in weeks - or quite possibly months :( Sorry! and to be honest I am near enough completely knackered out so I'm going to write this quick post for you, then make myself a nice mug of hot chocolate with little pink and white marshmallows and slip inbetween my freshly washed linen bedding on my comfy bed (I can not wait but I'm putting you first right now)...
OK... So, as
I have mentioned in my past posts I love the cute pink high street store
Superdrug – it is my go to place for near enough everything I consider a
necessity (it even stocks chocolate!). I've made numerous trip to Superdrug already
in 2013 and it's only the 10th day of the first month.
On the first
walk into Superdrug I had only one item on my mind – a decent nude/pink lip
stain/lip liner. After about 20mins of walking backwards and forwards and back,
over and over again around all the different make up brand stands (and having a
staff member following me around, ha). I purchased Collection 2000's Lip
Liner in Shade 15 'Marshmallow' (£1.99), on the packaging and swatch I done
with a tester on the back of my hand it was a really nice nude tone. I also got
MUA Professional Kiss Proof Lip Stain in 'Fabulicious' (£3.00) which was
a cute baby pink colour; Superdrug own brand Extra Firm Hold Hairspray
(£1.19) and Macleans White & Shine toothpaste (£1.99).
On the
second trip , I bought Superdrug own brand of permanent Radiance Foam
Colour (£5.99), I bought 2 boxes of 'Dark Blonde 7.0' and 1 box of 'Medium Ash
Blonde 8.1' and 2 boxes of Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL Colour Intense in
'Max Blonde 00B' (£5.49). Herbal Essences Ignite My Colour Shampoo
(£3.79) with matching Herbal Essences Ignite My Colour Limited Edition
Conditioner (£3.79). Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Deep Pore Treatment
Toner (£5.35) and corresponding Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Treatment
Cream (£6.49).
And on the 8th
January, after buying my brother his birthday present from Argos I
decided to treat myself to another Superdrug spending spree (especially
as I needed to find a good nude lip liner – the Collection 2000 didn't do
anything for me, review post coming soon). I bought Look Beauty Loud Lip
Liner in 'Toffee Cup' (£4.00) and Look Beauty Colour Correct Colour
Primer (£12) I think that product could quite possibly be the best make up
invention ever, Primer AND Colour corrector in one AND its the green red
counteract tone not the OK but not as good yellow tone, I'm so excited to try
this, I sincerely hope it lives up to my expectations! I also bought MUA
Professional Pro-Base Fixing Mist (£5.00) and Garnier Mineral
UltraDry Roll-On (£2.09).
Please note
that the prices I have in brackets are those of the normal prices that I copied
from the Superdrug website. Superdrug had and still have some amazing offers so
I saved a lot of money already this year, e.g. Half Price on selected LookBeauty
Products/Herbal Essences were Half Price/Superdrug Radiance Foam
Colour was by 1 get 2 free and those were just three of the promotions they had
on! Clearasil was also on one, as well as Live Color XXL and the essentials
such as toothpaste and deodorant... I LOVE SUPERDRUG! Not to mention I love
collecting Loyalty Points on my BeautyCard, I'm saving up those for everyone’s
Christmas Pressies for 2013!If you would like any reviews on any of the products I have bought, or you just want to ask questions in general about any of my purchases – just let me know :) I will answer to the best of my knowledge and ability. Have you got any of the products I've bought in my Superdrug spending spree? What's your opinion on them?
I look forward to hearing from you
and seeing you Beauties again!
