A Quick, Unexpected Halloween Request

Hello Beauties!

Firstly, Happy Halloween!

Secondly, I was asked to do halloween look on my niece just before dinner was cooked at around 6pm... I have no face paiting stuff so I had to ask her to go into my old bedroom at my mums and grab a box off the top of the book shelf with loads of random products in. Hopefully I could find something in there to make her look spook-tacularly gorgeous (hehe... sorry, lol).

She wanted something to cover her whole face, something a little frightening, and not to look like herself. The task was a BIG ask on such short notice.

I found Wilko White Face Paint (which had to be layered, many many layers!), oh but before that I used my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in number 1 Fair (used with a buffing brush). The face paint was applied using a stippling brush and a beauty blender sponge.

I used Make Up Academy (MUA) Gel Eyeliner in Underground (black) all around the eyes and on the sides of her nose using the little applicator that comes with it that is located in the lid (Very handy!).

I grabbed a small fluffy eye brush and gently blended the two sides of the nose together to create a grey effect on the bridge of the nose.

I then used a shadow brush to create teeth using the Wilko White Face Paint, MUA Gel Eyeliner in Underground was used to give the teeth definition. I also used it to run along the mouth and lip area.

I used Make Up Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer on the lips in Velvet Black Heart.

I added a sculpted look to the face using a black eyeshadow to hollow out cheek bones, forehead, chin and neck. I then dusted a grey colour all over the face.

To create the blooded hole on her forehad I used Make Up Revolution Salvation Velet Lip Lacquer in Velvet Black Heart along with Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn Blood. Mixing them together in places, stippling them on in places. Just creating texture. I also added black, red, and even green to the blooded hole.

I then added some Fake Blood which was from ASDA, it came in a little kit with an open wound.

Altogether I'm pleased with the result, I wanted it to be a skull look but ultimately the client wins - she wanted black lips, along with a blooded hole in the head.
Looking onto the photo now (I can't look at her because she's out having fun) I can see a few things that I would definitely 100% alter but I've told her that next time she wants me to do something let me know before hand so I can prepare with all the right stuff!

Let me know what you think, did I do good on the very last minute requested look?
Speak to you soon,
Have fun! Be good!

A nice, everyday make up look (perfect for visiting the farm, having a picnic, going to the park, and chilling out at a mates house! hehe)

Hello Beauties!

Yesterday was a bloody good day! I woke up with a mood that said "Don't do your 'house' duties, Don't bother with your adult responsibilites - Go and Have FUN!". So that's exactly what I did. After the usual of getting up, chilling out, eating breakfast, wash-up for my little T'Bear and I, I decided to text a mate and tell him what he'd be doing today (after asking him if he already had plans - of course, lol). So we met up, after I bought a nice picnic for us and headed to a farm, after that we spent over 2 hours in a park, went back to my mates place to watch a bit of The Big Bang Theory and Emmerdale and then went home, but stopped off before to get some chips from our local fish and chips shop. Yummy! I didn't do one shred of adult-chores yesterday and it felt good. After my little T'Bear and I ate yesterday, we hit our head on our pillows and we were out in dreamland for the night. Bliss! Perfect!
Onto makeup, I spent a little bit more time thinking of what products to put on my face than usual which was a really nice change. I chose Benefit: The Porefessional Primer (applied with fingers), Lasting Perfection Concealer by Collection in the shade 1 'Fair' (applied using a Real Techniques Buffing Brush). Foundation was AVON's Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage in the shade 'Shell' (applied using a Real Techniques Stippling Brush). I then used Rimmell London's Wake Me Up Concealer in 010 'Ivory' underneath my eyes (using a Real Technique Pointed Foundation Brush). I applied my contour powder with the Real Technique Sculpting Brush and the product I used with that was Emite Make Up Artist Colour Powder Blush in 108. For highlight I used Make Up Academy (MUA) Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlight in Iridescent Gold (applied using an Essence Eye Blender Brush). Oh and I also used the Emite Powder Blush on my eye socket using a clean Essence Eye Blender Brush! To finish off my face I used Benefit: Hello Flawless Powder in the shade "I'm cute as a bunny" all over my face (but missing the highlighted portions) applied with a Real Techniques Powder Brush. I curled my lashes and then used AVON's new mascara "BIG False Lash Volume" in Black. I used Essence Eyebrow Designer pencil in 02 'Brown' to lightly stroke some definition into my brows. I used Essence LipLiner in number 11 'In The Nude' and over the top of that using a lip brush I applied an AVON 'ANEW' Lip Plumping Conditioner which is transparent. And then FINALLY, to finish off I used Make Up Academy (MUA) Pro-Base Fixing Mist all over my face.

When I put on my make up - it doesn't feel like a lot, but writing it all down I'm thinking WOW! That's a lot! hehe... but it's just a nice every day make up look that I enjoyed applying on my face. It didn't take long at all, probably 10-15 minutes which is pretty darn good (in my opinion).

Anyways, my Beauties... Enjoy your day, enjoy your evening, enjoy your night - whenever your reading this... ENJOY your time!
See you soon... Be Good, Have Fun!
